REGULATION
1)
The �FATA Insurance Group�, under the patronage of the �Department
of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs�, the �F�d�ration
Internationale de l�Art Photographique�, the �Italian Federation
of Photographic Associations�, organizes the sixth edition of the
International Photography Award "Target
Agriculture" concerning the agricultural world in all its forms
and expressions.
2)
The Award is divided into three sections:
a)
AGRICOLTURAL LANSCAPE
Agricultural
landscape is defined as the representation of the rural landscape
characterized by the cultivation (cultivated fields and / or land
dedicated to the breeding of animals and all the man-made works that
enable and encourage the development of agriculture) and by the new
era�s agriculture that uses renewable sources of energy, such as solar
panels, wind mills, geothermal heat and biomasses. Natural landscapes
are all natural areas, even if not marked by the hand of man: such as
forests, parks, lakes, mountains, etc..
b)
FARMING AND ITS FRUITS
Under
farming go pictures depicting all the activities that man carries out in
the country, aimed at the cultivation and / or breeding of animals (i.e.
the processes used in crop production such as the ones used to produce
grapes, olives, fruits, cereals and the ones used to breed animals,
dairy farming, meat processing etc.). For fruit means the representation
of any product of the earth at any time of the stage, from tillage
cultivation, to its use.
c)
AGRICULTURE AS FOOD SOURCE
Under
this section go all those pictures that have as subject food production
in all of its shades from land produce to animal ones. This section can
also accept, among others, images of artisan and industrial production
of food and beverages, and finished agricultural food produce, etc.
3)
The contest is open to amateurs and professionals photographers from all
over the world. The works sent by them are rightfully entitled to
undergo all the stages of the competition. Organization staff, their
closest relatives, the employees of �FATA Assicurazioni
S.p.a.� cannot
participate.
4)
Images
accepted in a previous �Target Agriculture� or which, in the opinion
of the organisers, are too similar to those accepted in a previous
�Target Agriculture�, will not be judged.
All
images are to be submitted as digital JPG files. Maximum image size
range of the long side is between 1920 and 3500 pixels at a resolution
of 300 DPI (large files are welcome to improve the quality of the
catalogue) and can be submitted exclusively through the dedicated link
in the website www.obiettivoagricoltura.it. The title of the works shall
be indicated in the entry form that you can find following the
appropriate link.
5)
Each competitor can submit up to four images for each section (max 12
total images). Images can be unconnected ones or they can tell a story
connecting the three sections "A", "B" and
"C".
6)
Calendar:

Award Ceremony: September 26, 2017 (Expo 2015, Milano)
7)
Entry fees, as a partial contribution to the organisational costs, is

The
organisers regret that entries for which no fee is received will not be
judged nor
returned.
8)
The �FATA Assicurazioni�, has the right to use, free of charge, the
awarded pictures in advertising campaigns, the publication of its
printings, advertising supports (6x3 road signs or other dimensions,
calendars and so on) on any volumes related to the award, on prints
inherent the award ceremony, on internet sites, on media storages (CD,
DVD and so on) or for promotional exposures of the award and, anyway,
whenever the �FATA Assicurazioni S.p.a� will consider it
necessary. The
source and the authors of the images are going to be indicated each
time.
9)
Every author is responsible for the contents of their works and
participating to this award implies that all
entrants must have the sole copyright to each image they submit.
10)
Works are awarded at the unquestionable discretion of the jury. Awards
are not cumulative.
11)

The Jury reserves, at its unquestionable discretion, not to accept those
images whose content could presumably bear damage to organizers and to
appoint prizes according to its technical opinion and its culture.
13)
The organization, while ensuring the utmost care in handling and in
displaying the pictures, disclaims any responsibility for loss, fire,
theft or damage.
14)
Prizes can be collected at the award ceremony by the winner or by
designated person(s) on his/her behalf. Otherwise, they will be sent
home, by courier or by post.
15)
All participants will receive a catalogue with all awarded works and
awide selection of admitted entries.
16)
We inform you that, according to art. 13 of Leg. Decree 30th
of
June, 2003, n. 196
(bearing
the �Code regarding protection of personal data " herein under
abbreviated as
the
�Code�), all personal data submitted to the International
Photography contest "Obiettivo
Agricoltura�
shall be collected and stored by Circolo Fotografico Arno on paper,
electronic and/or mechanical and/or telematic means and appropriately
handled in order to ensure data integrity and confidentiality in
compliance with the Code. The submitted data will be used only to the
purpose of this contest. To this end, the organizer reserves the right
to display personal data on the web site of the contest
(www.obiettivoagricoltura.it) and/or publish it in the catalogue.
Entrants must submit their personal data to enter the contest. In
compliance with Art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, entrants have the
right to obtain information, at any time, regarding confirmation of the
existence of his/her personal data and their disclosure in an
intelligible manner, as well as information related to data processing
modalities, update, correction, integration and cancellation of data.
The above rights are exercised by means of an informal request to the
data controller. The data controller is Circolo Fotografico Arno with
registered office in Via Roma 2, Figline Valdarno
(Florence)
in the person of its pro-tempore president, Mr. Silvano Monchi.
17)
By entering the Award each participant unconditionally accepts this
regulation. Entering also implies full knowledge of the Conditions of
Entry.
